She's potty trained.
I was sure all was out the window with the busy day we had planned yesterday. First, there was the 2 1/2 hour church outing which I spent the whole night prior worrying about. I finally decided to put a pull-up on her, because I was pretty sure 2 1/2 hours was just a little too long for her to make it. Well, I took her for a potty break halfway through the service, and she made it through completely dry.
Maybe pull-ups arent so bad after all. It's kinda nice to have that "safety" there. So, when we headed out to Chilliwack for a dinner with some new friends, I put her in a pull-up again. And once again, she made it through the whole night completely dry. And even got up the courage to ask me for a couple trips to the potty while we were there. (She is pretty shy about it).
I think I'll whip out the pull-ups a few more times in the next coming weeks. Since she doesn't use them anyway, it's great for my peace of mind. And I am reallly dreading the first big accident in public. She's still getting used to the whole potty thing, it's not at all perfected. She seems to get really excited when her friends are around and never remembers to go. So, we need to work on that.
But anyways, for a week there, I was so wrapped up in potty land, I forgot I was pregnant. No, not kidding. In fact, I wouldn't even think I was in my 3rd trimester, except for the fact that I am due in 5.5 weeks. I still feel pretty much fantastic. I've only had a handful of bad pregnancy days, with back pain and all, and I don't sleep all that great anymore, but seriously, nothing compared to being pregnant with Eva. At this point with her, I was constantly sore and achy everywhere, it was hard to walk, and I had to have Nich tie my shoes.
I am loving this pregnancy. And, I might just miss never being pregnant again.
i love that picture of eva. thats such a cute expression, like an adult expression rather than a kid. cutie-pants. cutie-drypants, i might add ;) good job pottytraining!
