We had a lovely weekend visiting our friends, Darin & Deanna (and Daisy!) down near Gig Harbour. Here are some highlights of the good times...
Saturday morning, we wandered around a Farmer's Market- which was a lot of fun. The girls got balloon animals made for them, and were pretty pleased about that.

Then, we head off to the waterfront at Gig Harbour (I think that's where we were, anyway!)

Kaitlyn happily hung out in the baby backpack the entire morning. She slept most of the time, but when she woke up, she happily just sat and took in the scenery.

I borrowed their Zoom lense, and snapped away at the flowers for quite awhile while the kids played ball in the field. I think I got a good one!

It's amazing what you can do with different lenses. How fun!
We had a snack-time, then went and explored more of the Harbour.
(Please excuse the dorkiness that is me in this picture)
The rest of the weekend was great fun, thanks again Darin and Deanna for having us for a visit. Come to Canada sometime soon, eh?!
On our way home, we found a cute little espresso stand (oh, espresso stands, how I miss you) and drove through, and enjoyed some amazing lattes.

Then, we got on the ferry and settled in for the boat ride. Eva was thrilled to be on a boat, and wouldn't stop talking about it.

We sat for a few minutes, then got up to explore the outside decks. As soon as we got up, the ferry announced that we should go to our cars. Here we were expecting an hour-long ride, and it felt like 20 minutes. This made Nich and I quite pleased, as we are used to 2-hour long BC Ferry rides. And, it meant getting home at a better time for their afternoon naps.
After the eventful weekend, we arrived home and took a nap in the inflatable pool.

A great way to end a great weekend.
