officially moved in
so, our internet has been down for the past bit, that is why it has been so stinking long since i last blogged. we have officially moved into our new place- and i would post pics, but i have no pics on our new computer yet. oh yes, did you catch that? NEW computer!!! yay for new computers! check it out. it's got a 17" widescreen, 80gbs hard drive, and crystal clear picture. i'm in love.
as i am typin, eva is rolling around on the floor around me, nibbling on my leopard-print slippers. she was watching Baby Einstein puppet shows from her new DVD, but i guess slippers are just more interesting.
so, nich is gone. he left for kelowna 40 minutes ago. we're barely ever apart, so it's hard. But, i'm sure he'll have a great time at his best bud's wedding. and he will hopefully be back tomorrow night.

eva pics
eva has been enthralled with her musical crib mobile lately. now that she can grab her toys, she lays underneath her mobile, and grabs for each teddy bear as they go by. A few days ago, I left her to play in her crib for a couple minutes, and to my surprise, when i came back, she had succesfully grabbed a teddy bear...and the whole rest of the mobile came down with it.
when Granny came down from Terrace to visit for Christmas, she brought a cute pink rocking horse for Eva's first Christmas present. we broke it out today, and she "rode" it for the first time. she had a blast! her favourite part was when she grabbed the horses ears- a song would play.

growing up
my baby "Eever Beaver", as i like to call her, is growing fast. She just had her 6 month Dr. appointment today, and is in the 90th percentile for height, 55th percentile for weight, and 50th percentile for head circumference. She is wearing her 12month size pants already, cuz she is so stinkin tall!

Shen Pao-An
Exciting news! A beautiful baby boy named Shen Pao-An may soon, God-willing, be adopted into Nate and Christi's loving family. He was born February 8, 2006 in Taiwan, weighing 5 pounds. He is GORGEOUS. Don't you agree?
