Spanish Lessons with Eva
Eva: (playing with a toy car door) Abrir! Abrir!

Me: Are you speaking Spanish again?

Eva: Say Abrir!

Me: Huh?

Eva: Say Abrir! SAY ABRIR!

Me: Uh, ok, Abrir. What on earth does that mean?

Eva: Abrir, open door!

Sigh. She's way smarter than me.

    Sounds like Eva has a real thing for the Spanish language, too funny. :)

    that is so cool that she is learning spanish ~ go Dora the explorer ~ hopefully Eva will continue to pick up spanish and maybe go to an elementary program with a language emersion programs (those are getting to be really popular ~ the little girl I am tutoring right now is learning Japanese at her elementary.)

    hee hee ... Kaylie used to do that all the time too! Dora makes kids smart! And it's amazing how they can get the pronunciation perfectly.
