Let's see, what's new. I have no pictures to share since I'm on the 'sick couch' downstairs with my garbage laptop computer (I have a lame cold). When I'm feeling better, I will venture upstairs to my glorious office with my wonderful iMac, and post pictures again. But, for now, I will fill you in on some of what's new. In point-form, of course.
- I chopped off Kaitlyn's mullet. Now she has a cute little toddler bob.
- Nich insisted that we buy the girls' the new Tinkerbell movie that was just released. Since this is only the second purchase request his whole parenting life (first being Lego), I complied with a smile on my face. I brought Kaitlyn to the store, and when we found the movie, I let her grab it. And, she carried it all the way to the front of the store with this giddy, proud look on her face. And, the sweet employees kept saying, "Ohh, Tinkerbell, you lucky girl!" Which, made Kaitlyn feel even more special, and when we got to the checkout, she even knew that she had to put it up on the conveyer belt to buy it. So cute. Then, we picked Eva up from Kindergarten and went home and had a Tinkerbell movie marathon.
- I'm rambling because I haven't had my coffee yet. It's 10:38 and I haven't had my coffee yet. Clearly there is something wrong with me.
- Eva loves Kindergarten.
- We had a fun time with the Ewings exploring Granville Island yesterday. This is usually where I would insert pictures of all the fun we had, but I forgot my camera. Oh, and I'm on my non-pictures computer anyways.
- I bet posts are really boring to read without pictures
- Starbucks is raising their prices again. Really, Starbucks?? Really???
- We have new next-door neighbours that moved in yesterday. They moved from the next cul-de-sac over. Apparently they lived in our cul-de-sac a few years prior, and missed it so much, that they're back. Have I ever mentioned that we live in a very special neighbourhood? I don't think I've blogged about it before, maybe one day.
- I contacted the city's transportation department about the main road by our house, that all the kiddies have to cross to get to the soccer fields, and the new school. There are so many speeders on that road, no crosswalks, no sidewalks and no speed bumps. So, I contacted them, and heard back that it's already in the works to put speed bumps in as well as a 30mph school zone. They're just waiting for funding. Very cool!
I haven't forgotten about this blog, I really haven't. In fact, I have a special post coming your way in a few days. So, hang in there!
