I had my 35 week appointment today, (I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow) and all went well. I've gained 3 more pounds since my last appointment, and I'm measuring 2 cm bigger.
Yesterday afternoon, after I blogged about how I barely feel pregnant, I felt the baby "drop". And now do I EVER feel pregnant. I'm having a gagillion Braxton Hicks contractions all the time, and have started to walk with a slight waddle. The Doctor confirmed at the appointment today that the baby has dropped and is 3/4 engaged. I guess he can only feel the chin, the rest is engaged in my pelvis. It's also pretty early for this to happen. He said with second pregnancies it usually only happens right before labour begins. But, he also said it doesn't really mean anything, just that the baby is "locked and loaded". I have a feeling I won't be overdue.
Wish I had a prego pic for ya, but I'm too lazy to jog upstairs with my camera. So, maybe another day.
oh you are getting so close! i know the waddling feeling you are talking about. i hope your baby doesn't make you wait past your due date to far... if he or she is "late" at all.
That is AWESOME news about the potty training too!
Hooray Eva!
