Flight Cancelled
What? They can do that? I've travelled a lot, and experienced way over my fair share of annyoing delays- but a completely cancelled flight? Never experienced.
I figured they would get us on one of the next flights...nope. After trying to get through to Air Canada for about 45 minutes, they informed me the next flight would be at 7:50am Christmas morning.
And the kicker? It's supposed to dump snow again all day Christmas Eve, into the night- which is exactly what cancelled our flight last time. So, we're just hoping now and praying like crazy that we get to get on that plane.
*Pause for a quick blog prayer*
God, all we want for Christmas is to go see family in Terrace .
Amen
*Unpause*
But, the delay hasn't been all bad. At least we aren't stuck in the airport like hundreds of others are. And we get to play in the pretty snow- which Eva quite enjoyed.
There is so much of it! Eva's slide is buried.
And Eva got to have a play date with her best friends...
And Kaitlyn got to pretend to sip her very first Gingersnap latte.
We're heading out Christmas Eve to stay at an airport hotel, and will get up early Christmas morning to (hopefully) get on a plane, leave this crazy, snowy mess behind, and fly to Terrace for Christmas.
Hope your travel plans work out, and you all have a wonderful, family-filled, joyous Christmas.

cute pics! hope you make it up safe and sound. we're praying for the same thing for driving to Oregon. Merry Christmas!
