(why does her fauxhawk always look worse in pictures?)

There is so much wonderful-ness in my life right now. I'm loving that the girls are getting older, and are playing together. Eva started calling Kaitlyn "sweetie". And is always saying cute things like:

"Sweetie, be careful" and "Sweetie, don't eat food off the floor" and "Sweetie, sweetie, sweetie, you do it like this. Let me show you"

It's hilarious.

I'm loving that we are in more of a routine now. Kaitlyn is napping better and longer all the time. And Eva still loves her afternoon naps, she reads to herself for awhile, and then takes a 2 hour nap. It's blissful.

I'm loving that Nich is driving the work truck lately, so I get my car again. Which is wonderful, wonderful freedom. I get to shop again! And go to playdates! I even took a morning trip to Starbucks with the girls this week. Kaitlyn sat contentedly in her carrier, and Eva sat quietly on a chair sipping her drink...and I got 20 minutes of Gingersnap Latte time.

Life isn't always this perfect, in fact 2008 was a whole year of far-from-perfectness. But, this new year is turning out just grand so far. And I'm not taking it for granted for one second.
