Christmas is in 3 days!! Eek! We ate all the Christmas cookie baking in the house, so I have lots of baking to get done in the next day or two. But, the presents are all bought, and most are wrapped and tucked under the tree. And, we went and filled two grocery carts full of food yesterday, so I think we're set for hosting Christmas at our house this year.
We are lucky to have both sets of parents come here for Christmas. The kids are going to be in Grandparent heaven. They are so excited for Grannie and Opa to arrive- that's what the countdown is around here. How many days until Grannie and Opa are here? They only have to wait 2 more days, since they're arriving Christmas Eve. We're looking forward to it.
I am thoroughly enjoying Eva's two-week Christmas break from school. I just love laid-back days, I feel like I can get lots done around the house (in my pajamas) and also catching up on lots of overdue playdates. So fun.
Now, I'm in Christmas prep mode: last-minute meal-planning, baking, house-cleaning, and of course, I'm hoping to film the annual Christmas song which will be song by both of the girls this year. Stay tuned for that. Hopefully I'll have it filmed and up soon.
Merry almost Christmas!
Merry almost-Christmas! Have fun with my parents!!
:)
ps. I'm loving the no-school laid-back days too, even though I have to leave for work. I can sleep in because I don't have to drop anyone off on my way to work!
