I'm in the middle of potty training, UGH! This has to be my least favourite part of parenting. Kaitlyn knows how to use the potty, I know this because two days out of the last 10, she has gone on the potty, all day long, w
hen I am not looking. The other 8 days? Accidents everywhere. Just because she can. And she doesn't care. And UGH. She is stubborn just like her parents.
Moving on, there are about one million blog-worthy things that have happened since I updated last. But, as usual, I have almost no time, so here is a quick highlight in pictures.

I got to go on a weekend-away (no babies! no husband!) to visit a friend in Seattle. It was a great time, it was fun catching up with her. And, we went to fun places like the original Starbucks and Pikes Place Market.
Elizabeth and her kidlets came for an afternoon playdate last week. It was so great to finally meet her after only knowing each other in blog-land the last few years. We sipped lemonade, the kiddles played in the sprinkler, we lounged on our new deck furniture, and just had a good ol' time. And, Eva is still asking for Hunter to come back for another playdate.

Last weekend we met up with some family in White Rock. Lots more lovely people were there, but I'm always nervous about posting pictures of anyone else. I feel like I need to ask their permission first, and who has time for that? So, if you're ever wondering why almost all the pictures I post are just of my little family, that is why.

And, of course, here is the potty-training 2 year old. Seriously? I wish one of those famous 'Potty Training Boot Camps' were in this area. I would love to ship her off and have her come back fully trained. But, alas, it's up to me. And, I reeeally have no clue what I'm doing.
Oh yay you met Elizabeth! I counted it a blessing when I met her last year. She's such a sweetheart.
Good luck on the potty training. I can't remember a time when I WASN'T potty training. Liliana still doesn't have #2 mastered. And she was the same - didn't care when she had accidents. Drove me half insane.
