Applesauce
We just got home from the Okanogan early this afternoon, with a great big box of Summerland apples. We are venturing into "canning" for the first time. Nich is Mr. Martha Stewart (his words, not mine), and is all over it. I am his right-hand lady, helping with the slicing and dicing. And, supervising, of course.

The trip was great. It was everything I hoped it would be. It was great to catch up with this girl...

It was fun visiting "The Beanery", drooling over relatively affordable Summerland real estate (we could live in a real house!), and seeing the Summerland sights. We got to meet Amanda, from Kickyboots, in person. I have read her blog for years. It was so neat meeting her for real, she is just as nifty as I thought she would be. And I got to meet baby Jolie- soo sweet!

And, of course, it was great watching Caleb and Eva giggle together, play together, hold hands, and be the best friends that they are...

Somersault Party

Careful, this one might tug at your heartstrings...

We had such a good time, I can't wait to go back. Beautiful sights, and wonderful people. Wish we didn't live so far away.
