As we were sitting at Dairy Queen tonight, nibbling our ice cream treats, I looked over at content little Kaitlyn and realized that she hadn't cried all day (which wasn't the case last night when I left Nich alone with both kids to go to a Scrapbooking party, but anyways...) She is a very enjoyable baby. As long as I catch her sleep cues and put her down for a nap before she gets cranky- the days are pretty much golden.

And now that she's cooing and smiling and gurgling- she is so much fun. I can't get enough of her. I'll just stare at her and have a "conversation" with her, while I'm supposed to be watching a tv show with Nich. And every morning, I just cuddle in bed with her while she dishes out the biggest smiles of the day. I enjoy rocking her in the rocking chair, singing her favourite song, "Twinkle Twinkle". And lately, when she's in the middle of eating, she'll stop and look up, just to smile and gurgle hello.

It is SO cute. Everything she does is so perfect.

Nich says that I'm in "Baby love", and it's so true.



Now, if she could only just stay this small forever..
