It's great having her be my little kitchen helper, and she is loving all the attention. And, she's actually (miracle alert!) trying new foods now.
The other favourite part of this diet, is the meals are SO filling, I never really go hungry. Which has thoroughly surprised me. Because I thought dieting and starvation went hand in hand. Now, I'm not sure if this is because of well-thought out, filling, but low-calorie foods or if in fact this diet is not made for small people like me, with small appetites. I would love to know the answer to that one.
My other thoughts about this diet are:
-I've never eaten so much fruit in my life. My stomach constantly feels weird.
-The dinner recipes are actually surprisingly similar to what my family is already eating. So, I guess that means I'm doing something right.
-I'm loving the breakfast and lunch recipes, because usually we eat cereal 6 days a week, and waffles on Sundays. And, boring, old lunch ideas. I am just loving the variety! This diet is turning out to be a big treat. Which, once again, probably isn't a good thing? I must be doing something wrong. This is way too enjoyable.
And, in super, exciting news for all of you that are tired of seeing recipes taking up my whole blog page, I found the meal plan here.
Pictures of cute kidlets coming soon, I promise. I have finally moved all my pictures from my slowly, dying laptop to my new, better-be-amazing-forever iMac. So, yes, pictures of my cute kidets slathered all over this blog will resume shortly.
Everything sounds so yummy. Let us know the outcome! I'm still needing to lose about 10-15 pounds!
