-She can count to 12 now, although she tries to count higher, and says 14 over and over after 12.
- When something goes wrong, she exclaims "OH DEAR" or "OH MY"
- She begs for "pretties" (ponytail holders) in her hair now. Now that's progress!
-She says the phrase "Push It" for just about anything (puzzles, toys, shopping carts and on and on) The thing is- it doesn't sound like push it. Sounds like something that rhymes with push it. That isn't very nice. It doesn't help that the "pu" part is quiet and she yells the last part. Loud. I've already been embarassed at the grocery store and on the phone with a client.
- She still eats like a bird
- She says "Bless you" when someone sneezes
- She sleeps in until 8:00 almost every morning.
- We took her to our new house, she walked up the stairs, looked around and said "WOW!"
- She says "Please" and "Thank you"
- She is my little cheerleader. If I walk in the room after being gone for awhile, she'll drop what she's doing, clap and say "Yayy, Woohooo, Mommy's heeeeeeere!" Not kidding. I've trained her well.
There are a million more sweet things she's doing, I just love her to pieces. I can't get over how much she's changed since she's turned 2. She is growing up to be such a kind, loving, polite, gentle girl. I am just so proud. Everyone talks about the "Terrible 2's", but I'm wondering if we went through that when she was 1. She was so much more tantrum-y and rebellious during that year, then she has been the last little while.
Annd, before I hit the hay, we went to visit Santa on the weekend. This wasn't really a hit with Eva, but here's the pic nevertheless.
He was a super cool Santa- he even gave her a teddy bear! And the whole thing was free- you just had to bring some cans to donate.
And there is so much more I could update on, but that's all for now. Hope you are all enjoying this magical season with your little ones, as much as I am!
8 every morning... NICE!!
She sounds like a little sweetie!
Love the "push it" story, lol!
