I have been presented with my very first award, the Nice Matters Award, by
Kristen. I came upon her blog via
Elizabeth, a while ago. And couldn't help but comment when she listed Tim Tam Slams as one of her favourite treats. Anyone who knows what a Tim Tam Slam is simply
rocks.
Anyhow, we've been commenting on each other's blogs since, and I've much enjoyed seeing the cute pics of her sweet little daughter, who is close to Eva's age. And we're both expecting Baby #2, so that's super exciting as well. So, anyway, thanks for the lovely award!
The rules require that I select five recipients to pass the award on to. Here are some lovely commenters that always make my day when they leave some nice words. Drumroll please..
1.
Jen - My sis-in-law, fellow blogger, and faithful commenter. She is a Mommy of two sweet girls, Kaylie who's starting 1st grade soon, and Baby Lilliana.
2.
Chelsey- Nich's cousin (so does that make you my cousin-in-law? hm, just checking) She had a Baby Maya a few months ago, and it's fun following the growing up adventures on her blog. She just ate her first bit of rice cereal! So fun.
3.
Jennifer- Mommy to Eva's bestest friend in the whole world, Caleb. And new Baby Daniel. She is the whole reason I started a blog in the first place. I didn't even know what a blog was before her.
4.
Nicole- Living it up in North Carolina, which is too far away in my opinion. But, we are crossing paths on Saturday as she is in Seattle visiting family and we're heading there to catch our plane to Mexico. Looking forward to seeing you and your sweet Daisy in a couple days!!
Annnd, I'm changing the rules and only awarding 4. Hope that's ok. I love ya'll. Thanks for sharing your kind comments and thoughts.
Now I'm going to go celebrate my award by eating Timbits.
*Here's a quick side story: when I married Nich and moved to Canada, I was quickly introduced to the Canadian addiction of Tim Hortons. Nich would treat me to Iced Capps, and what I thought were "Tinbits". Now, I don't know why I thought that's what they were called. I guess I never read the menu, Nich always ordered. And it sounds like ya'll are saying "Tinbits". Which makes more sense than Timbits if you don't take into account the name of the restaurant.
So, (not a very quick story, eh) I'm driving in a parking lot, just pulling into my chosen spot, when I ran over something. When I got out, I looked, and it was a Tinbit box. But, no! I looked closely, and read "T-I-M-B-I-T-S".
Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
That makes way more sense. Timbits from Tim Hortons.
Funny story!!
Yes timbits are tasty, mmm, my fav ones are the mini dutchie ones. :)
