i forgot kleenex

Many congratulations to Julie and Jake Carriere! They were married today, on a beautiful, sunny Saturday. And the wedding was gorgeous, and Julie was such a glowing, beautiful bride.
I always cry at weddings, and this particular wedding was no different. Except this time, i was supposed to sing a song during the signing of the registry...and i forgot kleenex. So, there i was, sniff-sniffling...trying soo hard not to get emotional, so i could actually sing. And man, everwhere i would look, people were teary-eyed or crying. But, i made it thru, and i think the song went well.

So some more ultra-exciting, so-happy-i-could-cry news: we inherited a barbecue! (thanks Mandee and Adam!) And for the first time in our married life, we bbq'd up a storm on our patio. It was mouth-wateringly (i know that's not a word) delicious.

Umm, what else is new? Lots. We went and looked at the townhouse today, and of course it looks amazing. But for the first time, the security guard wouldn't let us go upstairs in our house. Oh well. I figured that wouldn't last forever. Maybe next time their will be a different security guard, and we'll try our luck again.

Ummmm, Eva has 2 more teeth! They are her front, uppers. And the lucky Dykstra's were babysitting when they broke thru. Thank goodness for infant tylenol.

Ok, now you are all up-to-date on the life of the Braam's. Happy Saturday!

The wedding was beautiful and as the mother of the bride, I can also tell you that Teresa's song was too. Julie, the bride, was thrilled and we all appreciate Teresa's contribution to making the day so special and memorable.
